A listing of Tesla Societies worldwide, whether or not they are "officially" alligned with a larger Tesla Society body.
- Mission Statement
- The purpose of the society is to promote an awareness and foster the emergence of cutting-edge, clean energy technologies, in the tradition of Nikola Tesla, but not necessarily limited to inventions initiated by him. The society provides in-person social interaction among those who share this common objective.

- Tesla Society of Switzerland (http://www.teslasociety.ch)
North America
- Tesla Foundation of North America (http://www.tesla.org/) - dedicated to the preservation of the legacy of Nikola Tesla and his inventions, works & papers, etc. Closely aligned with the Tesla Society of New York.
USA
- The Tesla Memorial Society (http://www.teslamemorialsociety.org/) - The oldest U.S. based international organization operation honoring and perpetuating the memory and ideals of the great electrical scientist and inventor Nikola Tesla. The society is a non-political, non-profit, all volunteer membership organization founded in 1979, incorporated in 1980, operating under Section 501 (c) (3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.
- Tesla Memorial Society of New York (http://www.teslasociety.com/) - Works to spread knowledge of Tesla. Includes links to other Tesla organizations. Founded in Buffalo, NY in 1979, it claims to be the oldest Tesla Society in North America.
- Tesla Society of San Francisco (http://www.sftesla.org/)
- Yahoo Discussion List (http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/sfteslasociety)
- Seattle Weird Sciences Salon - "Weird science guy" Bill Beaty hosts a monthly geek gathering in Seattle devoted to various quirky science topics, usually having to do with alternative energy and Nikola Tesla. Weekly meetings also held.

The International Tesla Society dissolved in 1999, but the originators, headed by Steve Elswick, are still very involved in promoting awareness of Tesla-related technologies. See http://TeslaTech.info

- August 6, 2006, Sterling D. Allan commences this Tesla Society index page, encouraging others to form local chapters for the purpose of mingling in person with like-minded individuals having a similar passion in pursuit of cutting-edge, clean energy technology.
- International Tesla Society foundation and demise (http://www.padrak.com/ine/SFTESLA.html) - Letter from the International Tesla Society founder, Steve Elswick (now with http://TeslaTech.info), gives history of founding, and reasons for banruptsy.
- New Tesla Society (http://www.ucsofa.com/newtesla.htm) - Dennis Lee's organization. Said to have bought the old Tesla Society for USD$5000 in 1999. No meeting information is supplied.
- International Tesla Society review (http://home.earthlink.net/~rivedu/14tesla.html) - 1984 was the 100th anniversary of Nikola Tesla's arrival in America. To mark that, the first Tesla Symposium was organized and produced by a small, dedicated group of scientists and community leaders in Colorado Springs. This began fourteen years of progress in advanced technology research that could possibly impact our planet for the next thousand years. The International Tesla Society went bankrupt late in 1998 due to internal political struggles.
