Brief Bio
Mike is a writer on alternative energy, climate change and related issues. He also writes on rock music, especially indie rock bands from the NYC area. He has done extensive research into the electrolysis of water and written extensively on his findings. He believes that the energy future of the Earth is one in which multiple systems which derive power from renewable sources are used and that power systems will be more tailored to the location and needs of the user.
He believes that the future of transportation fuel is hydrogen derived from water but with a twist. He believes the most sensible storage and distribution for H2 is via carbon based storage systems such as artificially produced hydrocarbons.
Mike was asked to be an energy adviser to the Gephardt Presidential campaign and last year was invited to and attended a meeting of the Sustainable Development Commission at the United Nations which focused on "Green" Hydrogen where he answered questions from delegates.
