Contemplating the formation of an Incubator company in association with the New Energy Congress.
Brainstorm
A member of the NEC is working on pulling together some major funding for the top 10 energy technologies.
I would like to see us have a brainstorming session on establishing an incubation mechanism for bringing funding and talent around deserving technologies. If they need business expertise, we can provide it. If they need engineering expertise, we can provide it. If they need legal support, we can provide it.
What would the business model look like for such an entity. Investors are looking for a business model for handling these new technologies.
What should this entity's relationship to the NEC be?
It would be a for-profit entity.
Relationship Parameters
- The NEC will provide various technical expertise in the endeavors of the researching organization.
- Members of the NEC may participate in the technical, or legal endeavors of the researching organization.
- The NEC will receive a, to be negotiated, royalty on any licenses that may emerge from the endeavors of the research organization.
