I own a 1984 Pontiac Parisian with about 134,000 miles on it. I was getting roughly 6 MPG and tried the 3oz per 10 gallon of regular gas. I was amazed to find that off of a eighth of a tank I used to get about 28 miles. This jumped to almost 70 miles for the same of gas, and yes the acceleration has returned. No more sluggish acceleration; it takes off like a rocket compared to what it was a week ago.
