Subject: Graphene Quartz

Dear [Sterling] Allan,
I would like to give you news about Ermy.it solid state generator. Their prototype uses graphene on quartz surface.
Recent publications [reveal that] if graphene is on a quartz surface and quartz is doped with oxygen atoms, a new electronic shell appears just under the conduction band at about 20meV. The theoretical calculations have been made by a Chinese research team in JiLin province (my wife's hometown).
This gives us a theoretical reason why Ermy's graphene-quartz cell is able to work as thermo-electric generator also at low temperature.
I read about the Turxotor technology, if it is real it will be nice to put them together on this: http://project.harley-davidson.com/
Best regards,
Enrico

Their website states:

La Cella Energy Solid State turns into Battery.
Thanks to continuous research and testing, we were able to establish the first battery Solid State that is auto-. "Another big step towards a sustainable future."
Imagine how it would be [to have a] blue the sky without pollution ... flying, driving, warm up -- only with electricity.
No more petrol, no more gas, only clean energy When and how you want.
Today it's possible, today it's the beginning of a new Energetic Revolution.
Three years after the first Solid State Energy Cell, here's the first self-rechargeable Battery. A battery that remains stable over time. We present the first battery that self-charges. A real clean energy source for us and for our Earth.
The process of bivalent cell energy is to catch loose particles in the air, then charge like a capacitor and vice versa [to] provide electricity like a battery.
The current generated by the single cell is minimal; but, clearly, connecting several cells in series and parallel will obtain the voltage and current required.
This is the first step for the development of a new energy technology.
The circuit series of the new cell consisting of two positive and one negative pole. The crystal compound inside the sandwich can keep a potential difference over time, creating a magnetic multi-pole and converting an energy flow into an electrical flow.

The project SSEC (Solid State Energy Cell) was born out of one of the physical properties of the quartz, the ability to continuously generate electricity when inserted into the cell, thus maintaining a constant difference of potential between the two electrodes (Anode-Cathode).
