On October 24-27, the Turkish government will be holding a four-day Turkish Innovation Fair in Istanbul featuring the best Turkish technologies of the year, and that two of the Alperen Group technologies will be among the three on display.

On September 7, Attila Alperen told me that his Alperen™ Group's TurXotor® motor is poised to be among the top three featured at the event. He said that the Turkish government wants to create a large electric car industry in Turkey around this invention that will enable electric vehicles to never have to be plugged in, and to be able to operate with only a few batteries on board, because the power source is onboard, pulling energy from the environment somehow -- harnessing the wheelwork of nature, as Tesla coined it.

TurXotor® is a motor that works as a generator at the same time -- the only system like this in the world, as far as Mr. Alperen is aware. So the TurXotor® motor powers the wheels of the electric vehicle -- and produces electricity at the same time, both to replenish the source battery and provide extra for the other electrical needs of the vehicle such as lights, radio, heat, windows, etc.

The Alperen™ Group doesn't describe their technology as a "free energy" technology. They shy away from words like "overunity" as well. They depict it as merely an efficient regeneration of the used technology. But obviously, if they are propelling a vehicle down the road, they have to be harvesting energy from somewhere beside the battery, if they don't have to ever recharge the battery from an external source.

Attila said this will solve two problems presently associated with electric cars: range, and battery costs. The range will become unlimited, and the battery costs will be significantly reduced, because the vehicle will only need enough to serve as a buffer for acceleration input and deceleration harvesting of regenerative braking. They won't be needed for storage for duration travel. You'll be able to travel as far as you want without ever stopping for fuel or to recharge your batteries.

This will be the first time the TurXotor® will be publicly demonstrated. The event will enable interested parties worldwide to see the technology demonstrated as well as discuss licensing manufacturing of the technology. Normally, Attila is not very accommodating for people to come and see the technology demonstrated, so this will be a rare opportunity.

Attila said that at the event, the TurXotor® motor-generator will be demonstrated in isolation, showing its attributes of torque, electricity generation, and efficiency. It will also be open to inspection, not concealed in a "black box" of any kind.

Though such a technology has a myriad of applications, at present, the only application that is being licensed is for manufacturing the motor to fit electric vehicles, or trains, or ships.

Other Technologies

The Alperen Group has many other technologies they are working on, one of which may also be featured at the October expo by the Turkish government; but Mr. Alperen wants to keep the nature of that technology a secret for now.

Another technology they are working on is for home heat and electricity. It will take a while to get the necessary testing and certifications for that to be released to the market. But they may be able to sell to off-grid users earlier. When they do open up for regular customers, rather than sell the technology outright, they would lease the units, and the customer would pay them a monthly amount much less than what they might pay for grid-based power.

Looking for Manufacturers

Right now they are primarily looking for two types of manufactures for their two types of products. One is motor manufacturers who can do high volume. The other is boiler manufacturers who can produce their heater technology, which also has the co-generator electricity output. He would prefer that the manufacturers be in countries where intellectual property can be properly respected.

October 28, 2013: not real or honest people...

Today Attila sent me the following message by Skype, then he removed me as a contact at Skype.

Image:Alperen_Skype-stop_rd.gif

Here's the text, for those of you reading in another language, to translate:

[2:28:34 PM] Col. Attila ALPEREN®: Hello...
[2:29:27 PM] Col. Attila ALPEREN®: Mr. Sterling please do not send me anyone for any type business or investment etc...
[2:30:13 PM] Col. Attila ALPEREN®: As i told you before; i DONT WANT anyone for any reason..
[2:31:03 PM] Col. Attila ALPEREN®: Sorry to say but most of them not real or honest people...
[2:31:13 PM] Col. Attila ALPEREN®: Bye...

My first impression was that what he was saying was a "mirror". I've not sent anyone his way (at least not for months), other than indirectly through my earlier coverage. I had been waiting for his vindication event which was supposed to have been last week, which he cancelled.

As he seemed in a bad place emotionally, I was starting to write a "resend contact request" through Skype to see if maybe he might be open to a little mentoring on a personal level, to lift his spirit.

Then Cheri walked in, and I asked her to do a "psychic read" on him.

She centered herself and then said, "It seems like he doesn't have anything; not totally honest."

She hadn't read what he wrote, and when I pointed it out, she confirmed that to her as well it seemed like a "mirror".

(This is not a repeat of what was posted most recently, but a variation.)

Last month, we made this announcement:

And I created a blog page at Event:2013:TurXotor_Demo with shortcut domain name: http://TurXotorDemo.com to forward to that page.

Then this morning, Attila Alperen sent me a Skype message saying:

[1:24:05 AM] Col. Attila ALPEREN®: Hello...
[1:24:51 AM] Col. Attila ALPEREN®: We will not be in expo show... FYI...
[6:28:34 AM] Sterling D. Allan: what happened?
[6:29:35 AM] Col. Attila ALPEREN®: Personal reasons... I had accident..

October 7, 2013: Booth Number? Broadcast?

I got an update this morning from Attila.

He told me on September 26th that they were moving his booth, and that he would let me know when he has the new number.

This morning he said he still doesn't know, but that they will have that info on the entry to the expo hall.

He also told me that they don't have internet in the hall, but that he has a mobile plan, but that he's not sure until he gets there whether it's bandwidth will be good enough to broadcast.

October 1, 2013: Oz Turk: Attending to Report

A guy who goes by "Oz Turk" will be attending the demo and will report to us his impressions. He is skeptical but somewhat open.

September 23, 2013: Electrical Engineer Volunteers to Attend for PESN

Earl L, my associate with the New Energy Congress nearly from when we founded it in 2005, offered tentativeley today to attend the TurXotor Demo on PESN's behalf, to assess, shoot video, take photos, and write reports for us; beginning with a rapid report on the first day. This will be very important, to get the word out whether this thing is for real or not, and to what extent. If it's for real, there will be a lot of Electric Vehicle (cars, trucks, trains, boats) manufacturers who will want to license the technology to apply to their vehicle line.

He is an Electrical Engineer living in Western Europe with 40+ years experience, and he has empathy for these kinds of outside-the-box electronics approaches. For example, several years ago, he was involved in a project call the "Hippie MoGen". Nevertheless, he also knows that things need to be proven out for people to take them seriously. He has the credentials needed to do something like this.

The limiting factor for being ablt to do this trip is budget. He would need help on expenses to afford the plane ticket and hotel expenses. You can send him donations via PayPal to Image:Earl 150.gif. We can keep a tally here about how we're doing on the fundraising for that. He said he would refund everything if he turns out not going.

Since he lives in Europe, the cost to get him there won't be as much as it would to get me there. The advantage of having Earl do this is that the plane ticket will not be nearly as much. It would cost Earl around 600 euros for the flight, and around 100 Euros per night for hotel. It could cost me around $5000 USD for the flight.

Also, as an Electrical Engineer, Earl will be more qualified that me in signing off on the legitimacy of the technology. The disadvantage is that he doesn't have as much experience as I do in reporting, both in taking and posting photos and videos in a timely manner.

September 19, 2013: Manufacture Clarification

I was able to get some clarification from Attila today about what he is looking for.

It turns out there are two types of manufacturing agreements.

  1. One would be as an OEM, manufacturing product for the Alperen Group. This is not a license arrangement. This is what Attila is looking for when he talks about wanting a manufacturer for the motor and for a boiler.
  2. The manufacturing license is a separate situation. This would be a license for a specific application. For example, if Tesla Motor Company were to want to put the Turxotor motor-generator in their car, they would get a license to do so. They could either manufacture the motor themselves, or purchase motors manufactured for the Alperen Group by an OEM.

The OEM manufacturer Attila is looking for needs to be able to manufacture in very high volume. "More than you can imagine." He said that the motor design, for all intents and purposes, is nearly identical to other motor designs; so no special tooling is required.

He wants a company that will honor the intellectual property of his company.

He has found a US company to do the motor case.

September 18, 2013: Renault Clarification

Going to the Renault website, it is clear that they are keen on their electric vehicle division. It is mentioned prominently on their home page. Here is their page about their EV line, which they call "Zero Emission vehicles". The Renault Fluence Z.E. shown to the right is one of them.

In looking into this, and passing it by Attila, it turns out that I misunderstood. My understanding was that "Renault is presently involved in making the vehicles into which these motors will be placed."

Renault is one of the companies that the Turkish government has extended an invitation to be involved in its international electric car industry. They do not have any relationship with TurXotor; at least not yet. And, if I undersand right, neither do they already have a relationship with the Turkish government.

I've removed that misleading sentence from the page above and from the Sept. 7 story at PESN. The letter to Renault that I posted here briefly, is therefore moot.

September 18, 2013: Turkish Innovation Fair Location Announced

by Sterling D. Allan
Pure Energy Systems News

I got a Skype call this morning from Attila Alperen, CEO of the Alperen™ Group that will be demonstrating their TurXotor® electric motor-generator at the Turkish Innovative Technologies and Inventions Fair in Istanbul from October 24-27. It will be held at the Istanbul Expo Center in Halls 9, 10, and 11. His booth number is F123.

As he promised, he called me as soon as he got the info. He was in his shop, with machines going, intercom calling, and hands dirty, but he called anyway.

The Expo website is http://www.inovasyonturkiye.com/

Image:Turkish_Innovation_Fair_home_700.jpg
The text across the top reads: Turkish Innovation '13; Innovative Technologies and Inventions Fair; 24-27 October 2013; Istanbul Expo Center; 9-10 and 11 Halls

(Note, the brochure link on the right side of the site is for 2012.)

The "Exhibitor Information" page is consistent with what Attila described to me earlier this month when we posted the story: "TurXotor® Free Energy Demonstration Scheduled for Electric Vehicles in Istanbul"

Exhibitor Profile

REPUBLIC OF TURKEY SCIENCE, INDUSTRY AND TECHNOLOGY MINISTRY, the project owners, SMEs and the projects supported by the ministry,

The project owners, SMEs and the projects supported by TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey),

REPUBLIC OF TURKEY MINISTRY OF DEVELOPMENT, DEVELOPMENT AGENCIES and the project owners, SMEs and the projects supported by the agencies,

KOSGEB (Republic of Turkey Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization) and the project owners, SMEs and the projects supported by KOSGEB,

TURKISH PATENT INSTITUTE and the project owners and the projects selected from among TPI’s database,

TURKISH STANDARDS INSTITUTE,

Science Parks, Teknopolises, Technology Development Centers in Turkey,

Individuals and organizations with innovative ideas, projects, new products,

Patent, Brand Consultants,

SME’s Consultants for Development Agencies, KOSGEB, TÜBİTAK, Europian Union.

Also consistent with what was represented by Attila, who said earlier this month that they didn't know yet where the event was going to be held, it seems to me that the inovasyonturkiye.com website has just barely been updated, and is not up to speed in all its information. About the only mention of the 2013 Expo is in the title. There are no updated links within the site itself. No updated news stories, no updated list of exhibitors. The most recent posting is dated March 4, 2013.

Several people in the comments to our September 7 story had thought it odd that an event of this size and stature would not have this kind of information pinned down a year in advance, yet it would seem that this has indeed been the case.

Attila said he usually doesn't do events like this, but he is doing this one for his government.

Once again, he emphasized that 1) he is not looking for investment, 2) he is not looking for partners nor proposals.

The only thing he's looking for is two types of manufacturers for their two types of products. One is motor manufacturers who can do high volume. The other is boiler manufacturers who can produce their combi-heater technology, which also has the co-generator electricity output. He would prefer that the manufacturers be in countries where intellectual property can be properly respected.

Be apprised that Col Alperen is difficult to please. He likes for things to be professionally done. He likes to stay below the radar. He's not one for fanfare.

If he meets a manufacturer who has the proper credentials and portfolio, he said it is likely he will introduce them to the Turkish Prime Minister when he comes by the booth at the conference. His only priority at this expo will be to line up manufacturers who can work harmoniously with the Turkish government, who he said want to create a world-class, major electric car industry in Turkey, based on this technology.

He said that at this point probably the only technology the Alperen™ Group will be demonstrating at the Expo will be their TurXotor® motor-generator (the only motor he knows of on the planet that is both a motor and a generator at the same time). He said the demo will show the system wide open. Nothing will be concealed.

While this motor eventually could be scaled to a myriad of applications, presently the only applications they are pursuing with manufacturers is for powering vehicles, including electric cars (their main emphasis), trains, and ships.

He repeated the primary attributes of the TurXotor® system.

  • No plug-in ever needed.
  • Only a small battery bank required.
  • Power is generated on-board.

Regarding his PCT patent application. He said that the present Turkish Government policy is to not publish the numbers until the patent is awarded. They've seen too many technologies stolen while in the review process.

Rather than try and raise the funds to fly over there for this event, what I would like to do is see several of you who are in Europe and are likely to go anyway, provide us with photos, video, and a report of the event. It would be nice, too, if we could get a webcam set up to broadcast live (if we can get adequate bandwidth for a reasonable price). So let me know if you plan on going and if you are willing to do this for PESN. If no one raises their hand in the next few days, then I might do a fundraiser so I can go, which would be contingent on raising at least the minimum amount needed.

Attila emphasized that: "This will be the only chance for electric car makers to see the motor in an open way."

"Electric car makers really should be there."

Ditto for makers of motors for trains, ships, busses, big trucks, etc.

I talked again to Attila to review the above text, and he said they have good Internet in Turkey, and he will see if they can have Internet at his booth so he can broadcast through his channel http://TurX.tv which forwards to his UStream channel.

Here's the bullet I created for this announcement, which was also the day I started this "blog" function. I'm calling it a "blog" because I post the most recent developments at the top, and can do either very short memos, photos, videos, or longer entries. It's a reverse chronological page (most recent at top). As the page gets long, I archive the older material, with a link.
