  • Francoeur Installs Fuel Vaporizer on GMC CrewCab - System uses 200-degree engine coolant to vaporize the lighter chemicals out of the gasoline into an isolated chamber system. Inventor is working on a way to crack the heavier part of the gasoline. (PESN; Dec. 31, 2005)
  • Venturing to the Zero Point - Bearden gives credit to the courage that researchers such as Haisch and Puthoff have shown in pushing to the zero-point. Academically it was a huge risk to them, to their careers and to their income. (PESN; Dec. 29, 2005)
  • Maxing Earth's Buffers to the Breaking Point - The Earth is extremely resilient, but there are limits to how much she can take, and when her buffering capacity is saturated, catastrophic ecosystem breakdown results.   • IHS Preparing After-Market Hydrogen Supplement Device for Vehicles - Innovative Hydrogen Solutions, Inc. of Canada has been developing an electrolysis unit that extracts hydrogen and oxygen from water and injects it into the air intake of a vehicle, to increase fuel economy by anywhere between 10% and 30%.   • Hydrogen embrittlement not a substantial threat - Hydrogen-conversion expert, and clean-fuel specialist, Tai Robinson, responds to assertion that when hydrogen gas dissolves into the structure of certain metals such as aluminum & steels, it can cause cracking and failure of metal components.   • Defense contractor reticent on anti-gravity discovery - A fabled top secret World War II technology, never fully developed by the Nazis, although many individuals were allegedly killed in the process of its testing, apparently has been replicated in part by a mainstream Californian defense contractor, SARA, showing anti-gravity and propulsion effects.   • Focus Fusion poses overwhelming competition to Tokamak - Purports to be a far more feasible and profoundly less expensive approach to hot fusion, in contrast to what the international project (ITER) in France is pursuing. Lawrenceville Plasma Physics is currently researching and developing the Plasma Focus Device for hydrogen-boron nuclear fusion. (PESN; Nov. 2)

  • Tankless Water Heaters are Brutal on the Grid When Popularized - Tankless water heaters draw energy on demand, and do not have a thermal energy storage aspect. Multiplied by many customers' hot-water usage patterns, these surges of energy amount to a significantly higher peak load for utilities, resulting in increased costs and, more significantly, in increased waste during non-peak times.   • Design To Improve Turbulence In Combustion Chambers - Somender Singh says a radical design change in the face of combustion chambers, by forming grooves, channels or passages through the squish areas, will further enhance in-cylinder turbulence followed by multi flame front combustion, as contained in his US Patent 6237579.   • "New Energy Movement" Posts New Website - New non-profit organization aims to foster awareness and activity among the mainstream. First conference was held last year. Site presently features a few essays from prominent individuals in the field of new energy. (PESN; Sept. 27)
  • Unfeasibility of Rebuilding New Orleans - The river is moving away from the city. The city is sinking because of its weight, because no upbuilding by new muck for many decades, because of being cut off from the fresh water, because it is sliding off a cliff (the Continental Shelf), and because the Oil and Gas Industry is extracting oil out from under it. It is a city that for all intents and purposes is now Sea domain. Spend the money on developing alternative energy solutions instead. (PESN; Sept. 23, 2005)
  • Hurricanes Are Getting Stronger - The number of Category 4 and 5 hurricanes worldwide has nearly doubled over the past 35 years, even though the total number of hurricanes has dropped since the 1990s.
