Electrolysis Chamber

Image:Boyce electrolysis chamber.jpg

Unit as set up during the cleansing process, with NaOH 3% solution. After two or three days of cleansing the unit to remove impurities from the steel plates and box, a ~20+% solution of KOH is used to condition the box in preparation for use either as a booster or in resonance mode for high volume output of hydroxy gas.

Collection Set-up

Filter material was added to the top of the inside of the box for use during resonance operation. The filter material helps prevent the aqueous solution of KOH from overflowing into the other cells.

Electrolysis Plates

An inside look at the box with 100 cells, or 101 plates, with each space acting as an individual cell. Voltage does not exceed 2V per cell during operation.

Circuit board fully loaded and housed in aluminum housing to protect the circuitry during resonance operation.

Toroid Coils

Image:Boyce toroid coils.jpg

Photo of two torroid coils prior to straightening and properly spacing the 16 MILSPEC gauge wire. This is necessary during resonance since the longitudinal energy travels on the outside of the wire which is silver coated for a faster responce. The wiring cannot be spliced or the resonance effect will be lost.

Showing the wire so people can see the layers and how the wire is wrapped. It was taped before placing into the aluminum enclosure.

Winding Toroid

Photo shows the 20 gauge wire for one of the three phases. The 20 gauge wire must also be straightened and evenly spaced for resonance operation.

Oscilloscope Shot

Snapshot shows the three peaks in the middle, representing 10.7, 21.4, and 42.8 kHz from left to right, not counting the first peak which results from the three combined signals.
