These are some images taken from Joe Flynn's patent.
The first layout is sometimes referred to as a 'MEG.' In fact, Joe Flynn's patent has priority on the design, layout, and concept. The schematics are very clear.
This second image shows the correct layout for a 'MEG.' It is fully TWICE as efficient as the single pm layout. There seems no logical reason to use the inefficient single pm layout.
This is a detailed image of the superb 3.5x Flynn flux motor.
One of the earlier motors Joe Flynn built. It is based upon a single pm layout.
Another of the earlier motors, slightly more advanced than the previous one. It is based upon a dual pm layout.
Further research
It would be interesting to model these motors in magnetic flux software, and even more so to build them. While Joe Flynn has long since done this, the information is not available to the public domain.
