Dr. Antony C. Sutton (http://peswiki.com/index.php/Site:LRP:Antony_C._Sutton_D.Sc.) recognized that the Order (Russell Trust Association) being the original impulse, was first on the scene, especially with regard to Foundations. The Order keeps a continuing presence among Foundation Trustees. It does more than just be first where money is concerned. It stays around to keep an eye on expenditures. The First President of the Carnegie Institution (1902-5) was Daniel Coit Gilman the incorporator of the Russell Trust Association in 1856 (commonly referred to as Skull & Bones). But other members of the Russell Trust have been on boards of the Carnegie Institution since the turn of the century (1900). Gilman was on the scene for the founding of the Peabody, Slater, and Russell Sage Foundations. McGeorge Bundy was the President of the Ford Foundation from 1966-1979. It had been Dr. Antony C. Sutton’s (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antony_C._Sutton) intention to provide significant documentation regarding Foundations and their role in transforming the United States from a free Republic into a socialist Democracy, a goal which he was unable to fulfill due to his sudden departure into eternity. References were made in his books regarding the study of Foundations, but nothing significant to pinpoint or provide a smoking gun, until now.

Foundations: Their Power and Influence a book written by Rene A. Wormser (http://www.premier1.net/~barkonwd/wormser.htm), who was the counsel for a congressional [Reece] committee commissioned to investigate the great tax-exempt foundations. Despite opposition from the media and the financial elite, the committee discovered that the Rockefeller, Ford, and Carnegie Foundations were working in education, government, and the media to convert the United States and its citizens into a socialist nation.

Rene A. Wormser's book documented the fact that American capitalists had financed both the socialist and communist movements here in the United States through their tax-exempt foundations. It was essential that such information be suppressed because it would be difficult to get young men to risk their lives fighting Communism overseas, or maintain public support for massive military budgets, if it were known that our financiers had been subsidizing our enemies.

Foundations: Their Power and Influence is one of the most important books ever written. It was first published by Devin-Adair, but dissemination was effectively blocked. The publisher subsequently gave the plates to the book to another publisher, but he too was unable to get it widely distributed. Eventually the plates were given to another publisher with the proviso that he get the book back in print. It is currently available from Radio Liberty. Norman Dodd who was the Director of Research, for the "Reece" Committee [1953] to Investigate Tax-Exempt Foundations and Comparable Organizations, was interviewed by G. Edward Griffin, a few month before he died. Norman Dodd was a consummate insider, who worked for a Morgan bank during the early part of the previous twentieth (1900) century, and knew first hand how things really worked and were manipulated to control events and directions. Norman Dodd had been invited by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace to come to New York for an interview with Dr. Joseph Johnson, the president, two vice presidents, and their own counsel, a partner of Sells & Cromwell. These men suggested that Mr. Dodd send a member of his staff [Miss Kathryn Casey, who was a practicing Washington lawyer] to New York for two weeks to spend time in their library to view the minute books of the Endowment, since its inception. Norman Dodd sent Miss Casey, whom he knew was unsympathetic to the investigation. "What could be possibly wrong with foundations: they do so much good," this attitude, thus insured a completely unbiased perspective regarding the research investigation.

Miss Casey was instructed to just spot read the ’minutes’ from the fifty years of data regarding the Carnegie Foundation in New York, Norman Dodd blocked out certain periods for her to concentrate on. When she got back, she brought back Dictaphone belts of data, showing intent to alter the life of an entire people raising the question regarding the establishment of War as the most effective means known to man, assuming you wish to alter the life of an entire people. "So then they bring up a second question namely: How do we involve the United States in a war?.” And they conclude that: They must control the diplomatic machinery of the United States, ultimately, the US State Department. Dr. Antony C. Sutton provided some insight into this by mentioning a book by Bryton Barron called Inside the State Department.

Antony C. Sutton discovered that both Bryton Barron and Donald Dozier, were railroaded out of the State Department, as a result of this study by the Carnegie Foundation being co-opted by new employees selected by those who wished to change the structure and nature of the State Department to fit the agenda of those who wanted immediate and lasting change. Quoting Antony C. Sutton:

"The State Department, for example, has a disgraceful record of attempting to black out information and present a false picture of historical events. Under John Foster Dulles, Dr. G. Bernard Noble, a Rhodes scholar and an enemy of any attempt to change the Establishment's party-line, was promoted to take charge of the Historical Office at State Department. Two historians, Dr. Donald Dozer and Dr. Bryton Barron, who protested the official policy of distorting information and suppressing historical documents, were railroaded out of the State Department. Dr. Barron, in his book, Inside the State Department, specifically charged the State Department with responsibility for the exportation of military technology to the Soviet Union, and listed four examples of highly strategic tools whose export to the USSR was urged by officials of the State Department.

1. Boring mills for manufacture of tanks, artillery, aircraft, and the atomic reactors used in submarines.

2. Vertical boring mills for manufacture of jet engines.

3. Dynamic balance machines used to balance shafts on engines for jet airplanes and guided missiles.

4. External cylindrical grinding machines which a Defense Department expert testified were essential in making engine parts, guided missiles, and radar.

Bryton Barron concludes: "It should be evident that we cannot trust the present personnel of the Department to apply our agreements in the nation's interest any more than we can trust it to give us the full facts about our treaties and other international commitments."

Breathtakingly inaccurate are the only words that can describe State Department claims regarding our military assistance to the Soviet Union. The general State Department line is that the Soviets have a self-developed technology, that trade is always peaceful, that we have controls on the export of strategic goods, and that there is no conceivable relationship between our export to the Soviet Union and Soviet armaments production." Kathryn Casey (http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9406E1D9163BF936A15754C0A967948260&sec=&spon=) found it difficult to resume her duties, after finding out this information. Norman Dodd subsequently found her a job at the Federal Trade Commission.

The Carnegie Foundation consulted the Rockefeller Foundation on how best to keep the American people controlled after they came back from fighting two global wars (World War I, II, and police actions (Viet Nam/Korea) and they decided that the control of Education was the best method of accomplishing that. They would control information, content, structure objective and deductive thinking and thus control ‘cognitive’ ability, thus preventing people from objectively recognizing their ‘control’ paradigm.

McIlhany II's The Tax-Exempt Foundations (New Rochelle: Arlington House, 1980), showing how the special interests and their money is being used to create a one world socialist system, from the safe haven of the United States.
