The CD rotor setup is a little difficult. You have to glue it just right or it won't be ballanced. Then you have to have the right spaces between the magenets and coil. At first I had to have this very close and then move it back after it got going on its own. If I did not move it back then it would spin so fast that it would fly away. I also had to spin it quite a bit until it went on its own. But now I have supported the other side of the rotor CDs (top) with another CD drive and can spin the CDs very much faster. I do not have the trouble starting the rotor either. See my replications for more details. Rick Friedrich
