Ideal for Vehicle Air Conditioning

I have said for many years now that the ammonia refrigeration cycle should be used as the air conditioning system of automobiles with the ICE exhaust heat as the energy source for the cycle.

Fully agree fran, not only that but what if you used the electrical energy you could havest to produce the hydroxy with the wasted heat???

Efficient Harvest of Low Heat Input

There is no uniqueness to the ammonia working fluid device over others [e.g. freon, propane]. Its only advantage is that it conveniently uses low temerature heat sources. It is standard physics otherwise. Ammonia, though toxic, has been demonstrated to be adequately safe with the history of aqueous ammonia refrigerators such as Servels that have served for decades without a problem. Though the Servels do not have turbines, turbines can be made with hermetic seals by magnetic coupling through the stainless steel piping typically used.
