The Hydro-Go team bought one of the Scan Gauge II units so they could use it to check how good the engines are on the vehicles they install their hydrogen boosters in. This is cheap insurance in avoiding the "this doesn't work in my vehicle" issues.
I also heard that auto dealers are using the Scan Gauge II to check out vehicle engines before they bid on them at auto auctions.
