The Green Home Heater by Sovereign Energy Solutions - Plans are available for a home heating unit that utilizes water as its fuel. Electrolysis is used to split the water molecule into hydrogen and oxygen (hydroxy gas), which is burned to generate the heat. ROI is estimated at 3-5 months from energy savings. Another hydroxy scam

Amazing how these scams keep popping up. The physics for electrolysis and burning of hydrogen gas is well known. The energy source is not "water" as claimed but rather the electricity to perform the electrolysis. The efficiency of electrolysis units likely to be found in a home is approximately 50-70%. So, overall, the system will be about as effective as if one used an electric resistance furnace but diverted 1/3 to 1/2 of the heated air to the outdoors. In other words, it sucks big time.
Let's have a look at the numbers

So, if we're using their claimed numbers we have 800W of electricity input and 34,000 BTU output.
I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they mean 34,000 BTU/hr (standard heater sizing units).
This gives us 9.95kw/0.8kw = 1,200% efficiency.
But more than likely they've just picked numbers out of the air. The purported I.Q. of the inventor has nothing to do with whether or not this works. Remember, there is nothing magic about hydrogen. Don't waste your money.
