User talk:Jeff

From PESWiki

Pls. stop this ridiculous persecution

As I already stated at my Wiki talk page, the link to both of these mentioned articles was provided there to one user, Harald88, for his kind past efforts in editing the article Harold Aspden, and to other three users - Ionized, KP Botany and RockMFR - for their support to my position expressed in the deletion page of Harold Aspden article at Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Harold_Aspden), which was abusivly nominated to deletion by dogmatic science editors as yourself. What more can you possibly want from me now?. --Utad3 16:32, 7 Jan 2007 (EST)

To "Jeff" from PESWiki hancho

Hi Jeff,

I find it ironic that you accuse User:Utad3 of "spamming", and your method of rreporting it is by posting a series of nearly a dozen identical comments here at PESWiki. That is hypocricy.

I do not find User:Utad3 to be in the least bit offensive to our purposes here at PESWiki -- which are to explore the cutting edge; something that Wikipedia is afraid to do. Wikipedia sticks with the well-established. That's fine, and that is why I founded PESWiki in the first place, to give people such as User:Utad3 and myself a place to push the envelope.

You are not welcome here. Your attitude and modus opperandi is the very thing that drove me away from Wikipedia and keeps me away. Feel free to visit, but unless you change your attitude, I request that you not contribute to content here.

I do not want to recreate the Wikipedia mindset here. They reject so much good stuff; it makes me sad -- and glad that we here at PESwiki have a place for such stuff.

Viewing User:Utad3's talk page at Wikipedia reminds me of many painful experiences at Wikipedia. Yikes. What a closed-minded crew.

We're the opposite.

Sincerely,

-- SilverThunder 17:48, 7 Jan 2007 (EST)

I don't see any evidence of spamming

Your accusation seems unsubstantiated as the additions made by user Utad3 are not self benificial. They are contributions to an article increasing the information contained within. Spamming is specifically something for personal benifit, and if your still feel that this accusation is accurate, you must cite specific examples. The specific examples are not to be placed within the article itself, but should be directed toward the talk page of an administrator or a discussion page. Nseidm1 19:46, 7 Jan 2007 (EST)

Substantiation follows.
What did this (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk%3AKP_Botany&diff=99123400&oldid=99119661) and that (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:RockMFR&diff=prev&oldid=99117429) have to do with "phoenix"?
As I wrote in Utad3's User talk page on the English Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Utad3#Speedy_deletion) (wikified here from a PESWiki perspective):
This same user has spammed Wikipedia twice anonymously as 213.58.99.22 with links to copies of its articles on Creation: The Physical Truth and Harold Aspden at PowerPedia (http://peswiki.com/index.php) - please see User talk:213.58.99.22 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:213.58.99.22) and Special:Contributions/213.58.99.22 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/213.58.99.22) for details. -- Jeff G. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:JeffGent) 17:38, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
I saved the best for last (from the same page as above):
This same user Utad3 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/) has also spammed Wikipedia many times in its own right - please see all of the "Asking for your aid" Contributions dated 1 January 2007 on Special:Contributions/Utad3 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Utad3) for details. -- Jeff G. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:JeffGent) 18:13, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

I did immediately stop and apologized to Wikipedia's administrator Asterion for my 'spamming' editions trying to alert to the abusive deletion tags. This incident is recorded here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard/IncidentArchive169#User:Utad3_Spamming_User_Talk_pages). However, Jeff's ridiculous persecution still continues till today to my home [pt.wikipedia] user page (and to the article there about Dr. Harold Aspden's work); in a way I am glad we are not living in the middle ages... ;) . --Utad3 19:15, 21 Jan 2007 (EST)
